Making Music
Park Avenue Elementary has an active music program. At Park Avenue, we are committed to providing students access to music instruction and believe that music instruction helps more fully develop brain function and leads to greater academic success in English and Math. Students in grades 1-5 are offered music instruction by gifted teachers. Students in grades 1 & 2 participating in the music program receive instruction for approximately 30 minutes once a week; grades 3-5 receive instruction for approximately 30 minutes twice per week. Each class performs two times a year in front of families and community members. The performances are always outstanding!
